Located in the former building of Saint-Luc art school, the hotel sits on the edge of Saint Gilles and Ixelles, in Châtelain, the place where bobo meets bougie in Brussels. Nestled between cafés, shops, museums and restaurants, this brutalist gem sticks out from the classical facades surrounding it. With a lobby full of concrete fossils and rooms decked out in raw plywood, the rough aesthetic of the space is accentuated with soft details. The 80 rooms are divided over 6 floors, topped with a staggered rooftop terrace that houses a pool and the PERCHÉ bar. Unusually tall for the area, the building provides stunning views all around. Next to that, the restaurant KAIJU on the ground floor offers fusion cuisine. When not serving dinner or breakfast, the space can be used as a commons by guests. For those seeking an even more profound experience of relaxation, the basement houses a secret. The ATSUKAN, designed by Lionel Jadot, offers a bathing experience borrowed from the Japanese Sentō, a sauna and a sake bar. True to its name it is also committed to the spirit of jam sessions, opening rooms to local music initiatives, artists, and event series welcoming local and international communities.
