Vienna is famous for its palaces, coffee houses and imperial streets. But there is another way to experience the city: from the banks of the #Danube.

That is exactly where you’ll find Hilton Vienna Waterfront, a Hotel.eu partner hotel set directly on the river and offering a refreshing alternative to staying in the busy historic centre.

Wake up to views over the Danube, take a morning walk or bike ride along the river, or cross over to nearby #DanubeIsland, one of Vienna’s favourite places for outdoor activities, cycling and escaping the city for a few hours.

The hotel itself is made for slowing down. Spacious rooms overlook either Vienna or the river, while OXBO Vienna Waterfront brings dining and drinks right to the water’s edge. In summer, the outdoor riverside pool turns the hotel into something that feels surprisingly close to a city resort.

And when it is time to explore? Vienna is still within easy reach. The Stadion U-Bahn station is around a seven-minute walk away, connecting you quickly with the historic centre. The famous #Prater, with its iconic Giant Ferris Wheel, and Messe Wien are also nearby.

After a day in the city, return to the waterfront, enjoy a drink overlooking the Danube or head to the wellness area with its three saunas — including a panoramic sauna facing the river.

Bali bans free hotel stays in exchange for Instagram posts

Bali has tightened its immigration enforcement, ruling that influencers who accept free hotel stays, meals or experiences in exchange for social media content are considered to be working. As a result, they can no longer operate on a tourist visa and must obtain the appropriate work visa. Authorities have already detained and deported dozens of foreign content creators, with penalties including fines, deportation and multi-year or lifetime entry bans. The crackdown is part of Bali's broader strategy to promote higher-quality tourism and reduce abuse of tourist visas.
